For many years the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus (UBC) has sponsored various bandura camps and workshops throughout North America. The first music camp Kobzarska Sich was led in Emlenton, Pennsylvania in 1979 by Hryhoriy Kytasty, the long-standing conductor of the UBC and inspiration to generations of bandura enthusiasts.
Kobzarska Sich allows young musicians to study under some of the most accomplished bandurists as well as non-bandurist musicians from around the world,. improving their bandura skills and musicianship. Previous camps have featured such prominent instructors as: Hryhoriy Kytasty, Julian Kytasty, Oleh Mahlay, Ola Herasymenko, Alexis Kochan-Budyk, Halyna Kvitka-Kondratsky and others.

Those who are 12 years and older have an opportunity to enroll in the full two week program. Finally, for those who are interested in Ukrainian vocal music have an opportunity to enroll in our one week vocal workshop.
All Saints Ukrainian Church Camp has been home to Kobzarska Sich. Kobzarska Sich is organized by volunteers who devote countless hours to the preservation of this great tradition. Leading the group of volunteers is a volunteer administrator. Over the 25 years history, the camp has had only three administrators. The organizational efforts for the first camps beginning in 1979 were led by Dr. Ihor Mahlay, and followed by Dr. Marko Farion from 1988-1994. Since 1995, Anatoli W. Murha has held the position of administrator.
